I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed since 1997. I received my MSW from UC Berkeley, and an undergraduate degree at UCLA. I work with individuals, ages 13 and up. I continue to seek ongoing education in various therapeutic approaches.  I have a passion for helping people with who have experienced trauma. I am trained and certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing),  and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/tapping).  In addition, I am currently enrolled in a year long course of study in Jungian psychotherapy.  As part of the Jungian model, I enjoy working with dreams as they often are a profound source of insight and guidance, reflecting wisdom that arises from deep within oneself.

Other modalities that I find very helpful are Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral. Both offer skills which are readily accessible  for improved coping.

I also specialize in helping adults manage ADHD, and use a skills based approach with this issue.

As you may have noted, I enjoy seeking  out new approaches and modalities in order to offer the most effective tools for growth. I aim to continue to share new skills and modalities with my clients.

Treatment Approach

I will work with you to find which tools  and therapeutic approaches fit best for you. There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach, and I am most interested in doing what works best, whether it is long-term exploratory therapy or short-term solution focused therapy.
